To guarantee a high prevention of water and air pollution, we orientate ourselves by the German standards. As one of the most modern plating center worldwide, we have effected substantial investments in the environmental protection, wastewater and waste gas treatment technology.
We passed the environmental management system certification according to the DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 standard in October 2008, and the ISO 14001:2015 standard certification in October 2017. Our company ensures continuous, regular checks on ecological conditions and systematically monitors our environmental performance.
At the end of 2021 and the first half of 2023, we successfully installed two sets of zero discharge systems for plating wastewater (one for backup and one for use). The plating wastewater is completely reused for production through RO membrane and MVR evaporator treatment, fulfilling the company's commitment to pollution prevention and continuous improvement of environmental performance.
As of 2023, we have installed and put into operation 9 air-source heat pump systems. These systems absorb heat from the air to heat water, which is then circulated through pipes to heat the production line. Compared to the previous method of directly using electricity for heating, this greatly reduces energy consumption and significantly lowers safety risks. Additionally, we have installed heat recovery systems on all 6 of our air compressors. These systems capture heat from the high-temperature compressed air exiting the compressors to heat water, which is then circulated through the pipe system to heat the production line. Compared to the previous method of forcibly cooling the compressed air at the outlet, this significantly improves energy recovery, resulting in a substantial reduction in overall energy consumption.
Starting in 2023, we implemented a carbon reduction management strategy. Our initiatives include large-scale tree planting, employees using solar water heaters for showers, constructing rooftop solar photovoltaic power stations, and replacing company fuel vehicles with new energy electric vehicles. Our goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
These environmentally friendly investments help us reduce carbon emissions by 220 tons annually, equivalent to the carbon sequestration of 17,600 medium-sized trees!
