On March 30th 2025, in this beautiful spring time, IMOC Electronic Components (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. once again ushered in the annual leisure tourism. Although the spring breeze is accompanied by a hint of winter cold that has not yet faded, this does not affect our excitement when traveling in spring.
The theme of this trip is defined as "Ten miles of spring breeze, IMOC goes to Yangzhou in March". In the early morning, all the employees with some family members were ready to go and their mood was already overflowing from their facial expressions. Before leaving, we still took a group photo and shouted loudly about the slogan of this trip, "Yangzhou", as if it had already been passed to our destination, so that Yangzhou was always ready to welcome our arrival.
Nearly an hour and a half of the journey, the tour guide explained to you the history, customs, food, the origin of the name of Slender West Lake, the history of Dongguan Street, and the story of which celebrities and poets who have traveled to Yangzhou from ancient times to the present. All kinds of games with prizes mobilized the enthusiasm of the family members and children and enlivened the entire coach.
Slender West Lake is a must-visit attraction in Yangzhou. It is known as one of the three famous scenic spots in Jiangnan. It is acknowledged for its "beautiful waters and mountain residences, famous cultural gardens and concentrated scenery. "The lake water is crystal clear, the shore is full of green grass and the quaint pavilions, covered bridges, and boats dot the area and the beautiful scenery that catches your eye is intoxicating. While enjoying the beautiful scenery of the garden, you can also walk on the long shore of the lake, slow down and enjoy the beauty brought by the lake and mountains.
The wind blew gently and the wind chimes at the corners of the Wuting Bridge jingled and made a pleasant sound. Standing on the bridge and looking into the distance, the weeping willows on both sides of the river hung upside down on the trees and from a distance they looked like green bead curtains set off on both sides of the river. Going further forward, there is "Twenty-four bridges on a bright moonlit night, where the jade man teaches to play the flute" Walking to the middle of the Slender West Lake, there are the Twenty-four bridges. The small bridge is winding and twisting and the Xiangqi by the bridge is quietly located in the water. The lake water is like a mirror, reflecting a group of wild ducks playing happily in the water, from time to time, causing the calm lake surface to stir up tiny waves.
Dongguan Street is located in Yangzhou urban area and is famous for its unique Ming and Qing architecture as well as it’s ancient commercial atmosphere. Various commercial shops, teahouses and restaurants on both sides of the street allow tourists to feel the traditional cultural atmosphere. The crowded Dongguan Street is filled with hawking sounds, various special products, famous Sandian bags are steaming and fragrant, attracting us and the fragrance of food is everywhere, stimulating our taste buds and turning us into foodies.
The short trip left us with so many beautiful memories and in the end, everyone was still unsatisfied and reluctant to leave.
Through this event, everyone not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery, relaxed their body and mind and relieved the pressure brought by work and life, but also provided a platform for communication. Various departments took advantage of this opportunity to actively communicate.
